Change of Mind
We are not required to provide a refund, exchange, or store credit if you change your mind. Please choose carefully as refund are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind or made a wrong selection. We may, at our sole discretion, allow a return for refund, exchange or store credit on a case-by-case basis, provided that the item in question is:

  • Returned within 30 days from the purchased date.
  • Must be in their original, re-sellable condition and if a perishable product, is not expired.
  • Must be unworn, unwashed, and complete with original tags and/or packaging.
  • Must be accompanied with proof of purchase such as sales receipt, tax invoice, bank statement or credit card statement. If the proof of purchase does not clearly itemize the goods, more than one type of proof of purchase may be required

Faulty Products
In the unlikely event that the purchased goods are faulty, fail to be of acceptable quality, are unsafe, have a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item, do not perform as they are supposed to, have a wrong description, or are different from the sample shown, you will be entitled to have the goods replaced or refunded using your original payment method. However, no refunds or exchanges will be issued for products that have been misused, mishandled, or mistakenly installed. Customers are responsible for following the instructions and advice given by the manufacturers. All goods will be inspected on return prior to warranting a refund, exchange, or store credit

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used.
  • In the interests of hygiene, we don’t normally offer change of mind refunds or exchanges on hygiene related products such as pillow, blanket, jewelry, food items and beauty products, unless you have valid claim at law.
  • You will be asked for information that is relevant to your return or to satisfy legislative requirements. If you do not provide this information, we may be unable to process your return.

Delivery Times

Below are estimated delivery times as some area may take up a longer delivery timeframe.

Our shipping guidelines are based on dispatch date, not order date, and are counted from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

  • Standard Delivery: within 3 to 5 working days
    • Standard delivery to certain areas may take up to 7 working days (e.g. NT and WA, TAS); and to regional NT and WA and TAS, can take up to 20 working days. Remote areas within Australia should expect a longer delivery timeframe. Bulky delivery charges may be applicable.
  • Express Delivery: up to 3 working days
    • Express delivery to parts of WA, NT, TAS and regional areas of all states may take up to 7 working days.

Shipping Fees

All orders of $50 and over are eligible for free delivery except the following;

  • Bulky item refers to orders of large / bulky or hazardous items. Due to the size and weight of the products, free shipping is not eligible and additional delivery fees may apply. This will automatically be calculated and added to your cart at checkout. Some products will require extra packaging, handling, and may at times longer to deliver.
  • NT, Northern Qld, SA, TAS and WA are not eligible for FREE delivery. Conditional flat shipping rate will be based on their postcodes.
  • Express Delivery is not eligible for free shipping

Order Processing

We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 48 hours of receiving your payment, but at peak times this might increase to 72 hours.

We process orders during business hours Monday to Friday only. If you place your order Friday to Sunday, it will not be processed until the next business day. Orders placed on a public holiday will be processed the next business day.

Processing and delivery times are an estimate and are not guaranteed. Factors such as adverse weather or an unusually high volume of orders may extend delivery time.

After your delivery has been dispatched from our warehouse, it will be marked as ‘complete’ in your online account.

Please make sure you provide a correct delivery address and contact telephone number for smooth delivery. We cannot be held responsible for any late or missing deliveries due to incorrect address and contact information. You may be charged an additional delivery fee if your order is returned as undeliverable for this reason.

All orders must be signed for on delivery unless you have given us authority to leave your parcel in a safe place in the “order comment” box at checkout. Please make sure you will be at home during delivery hours, or choose an alternative address such as your workplace.

If the package cannot be delivered, and you have not given ‘authority to leave’, the freight company will leave a card detailing where you can collect your parcel. Usually, this will be at the nearest Post Office during normal working hours.

Please note:

Some orders may be shipped in multiple packages and/or from different warehouses. This means that your order might not all arrive at the same time. We’ll inform you if this is the case.

Order Tracking

On placing your order, you’ll be sent an order confirmation email on the shipping method you chose at checkout.

When we dispatch your order, you’ll receive a second email with your order tracking number.

If you can’t find your tracking number, your tracking number isn’t working, or you have any other questions about your order, please contact our customer service team, who will be happy to help.

Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for tracking information to appear online. If your tracking number isn’t working on the freight company website, please try it again the next day.

Authority to Leave (ATL)

If you want to give us authority to leave your parcel in a safe place, you can let us know by ticking the box and writing this information in the “delivery notes” box at checkout. Your delivery will then be left in a safe place if there is nobody available to sign for it when it is delivered. This is a convenient way to make sure you don’t miss any deliveries if you’re out of the house; however, you should be confident that there’s a safe place to leave parcels outside your property.

Giving us authority to leave your parcel gives our couriers your permission to leave the parcel unattended at the front door, or in a place designated in your instructions, without obtaining a delivery confirmation signature.

Please make sure you designate a safe place if you have given us authority to leave your parcel, and understand that Bargain Central and our couriers are released of all responsibility and liability regarding items left unattended as soon as they are delivered to your address.

Late and Missing Orders

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order should be processed within two business day.

  • Orders placed on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will be processed the next business day.
  • Orders placed on a public holiday will be processed the next business day.

Please be aware of this processing time and add it to the estimated delivery time mentioned above to get an accurate estimate of when to expect your order to be delivered. If the date you expected your order has passed and you have given us permission to leave your parcel in a safe place, please check around your home, as the courier may have left the package in an unexpected place. If you think your neighbours may have signed for your parcel, please check with them before taking further action.

If your order is marked as delivered and you haven’t received it, your delivery is marked as ‘undeliverable’ or ‘returned’, or you haven’t received your order within seven working days, please contact our customer service team for further help.

Please note that Bargain Central doesn’t accept liability for delayed or missing delivery caused by a third party.

Lost or Damaged Items

If items are missing from your order or have been damaged in transit, please contact our customer service team so we can help.

Sometimes an order may be split into several deliveries, so wait until a full seven working days have passed before getting in touch, as the missing items may be delivered separately.

Avoiding Missing Deliveries

If there’s nobody at home when the courier attempts to deliver your parcel, you’ll have to arrange redelivery or collection. Once the package is returned to our warehouse, we’ll refund the amount you paid excluding the shipping cost which is non-refundable. To avoid this, you can give us authority to leave your delivery. If you give us permission to do this, your parcel will be left in a safe place by the couriers around your home  if there is nobody available to sign for it on delivery. If you want to use this service and designate a place for your order to be left, please note this in the “delivery notes” box at checkout.

If your order is being sent to a work address, please make sure you include your business name and delivery instructions such as ‘leave at reception’.

Out of Stock Items

If an item you have ordered goes out of stock after you have placed your order, we will contact you with the option to refund that item, offer alternative item or send it at a later date. While we make every effort to keep our website as up to date as possible, sometimes products do go out of stock before orders can be processed.

International Shipping

We currently only offer shipping within Australia when ordering through our website.

Order Enquiries

Yes, it is possible to collect your purchases in-store (depending on stock availability). Please contact our customer service team to arrange pickup.

To get a restocking date for a particular item, please contact us with the name and/or product number of the out-of-stock item. Our customer service team will get back to you as soon as possible with a confirmed availability date.

Bargain Central communicates with both local and international suppliers to get the best deals and source out-of-stock items as quickly as possible. If you’re looking for something in particular, come to us first – the chances are we’ll be able to find it and offer you the best price.

Once your order has been sent out, we’ll email you a tracking number. You can use this number on our order tracking portal to find out where your order is and when it will be delivered.

Some orders may be shipped in several packages. If you have not received part of your order, we recommend waiting for a few days to allow for separate deliveries. If you still have not received your entire order after an additional three days, please contact our customer services department for help.

We check all reviews before they are published on the website to make sure they are relevant and helpful. As long as your review doesn’t contain inappropriate language or content, we’ll publish it as soon as possible and you’ll be able to see it in your account and on the product page. For most of Australia, you can expect your order to arrive in 3-5 business days. Purchases sent to WA, North Queensland, NT and TAS have a longer estimated delivery time of 4-7 business days.

Shipping and delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by weather, a particularly high volume of orders, or other circumstances beyond our control. Remote areas within Australia should also expect a longer delivery timeframe.

We offer refunds on products that are returned within the specified return period. Refunds are free for defective or wrong products that were sent to you. Unfortunately, we can’t cover postage charges if you’ve simply changed your mind about a product. Subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, postage and handling charges will not be refunded.
